Bump Update: 10 Weeks

10/02-10/08

How far along?  10 weeks... double digits now!!!

Size of baby: A prune. :P Or, the size of the head on a hammer!

Total weight gain/measurements: I'm at -12lbs since our egg retrieval (August 7th).

Maternity clothes: You know those shirts you bought, but once you wore you felt like they made you look 'wide' or 'bigger' or 'fat'... I'm definitely wearing a few shirts I refused to wear before because they made me look pregnant! LOL

Stretch marks: My breasts beginning to show signs of stretch marks, and so is the lower part of my tummy. I've been using cocoa butter, and wish I could afford Mederma lotion. Wow! Pricey!

Sleep: Still wanting to go to bed early, but not AS early... sleeping 10 hours a night is not uncommon, however that doesn't account for the 3-4 times a night I wake up to pee. :) Naps here and there.

Best moment this week: When a friend commented I was almost out of my first trimester! I couldn't believe how time has flown, especially for a long IVF pregnancy! It will be nice to reach the second trimester! :)

Miss anything? I would give up ANYthing for this baby and not miss it.

Movement: Still got a ways to go.

Food cravings: Biscuits and gravy! Had to get some at Cracker Barrel with Walter for lunch one day. I've also been craving (China Restaurant specifically, but any will do about now!) crab rangoon  Unfortunately, the China Restaurant in our area closed down and won't open again for 6-7 months! :( That, and the fact that I'm boycotting Wang Gang, makes crab rangoon hard to get! So my husband drove me 40 minutes one way to get to their other location. I've got a good husband/daddy there!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Still riding around in a car. Also, letting myself get too hungry.

Gender: Unknown... but people have already starting guessing on Wallheimer Miracle!

Labour signs: I've got a long way to go! :)

Symptoms: some nausea, fatigue, achy muscles, headaches

Belly button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or moody most of the time: Really, really pinch-myself-on-a-daily-basis happy!

Weekly Wisdom: It is best to not speak on what you have not lived through.

What stereotype I Embody: I'm not a big fan of the LOTR stuff, but Walter is and I know enough to know I'm adapting to their eating schedule and then some.
For those of you not in-the-know (like me), the hobbit eating schedule:

...oh, and I get full within 5-10 bites. lol

What I bought this week: I didn't buy anything for baby this week (besides a ton of groceries!), but am finally thinking momma is going to make a hair appointment. Doctor approved at 6 weeks, and I thought I would wait until closer to the second trimester.

What I checked off my to-do list: Walter and I re-divded household chores now that things have changed a bit (now that I'm working and pregnant, and he's working 10 hour days...) and I'm hoping they all (or at least most) will soon be done smoothly! lol

Looking forward to: Starting to work on the nursery again. Carpet installed soon, and then it'll be crib-buying time!
